Wednesday nights are when we meet for Planet X nights. We start out most nights in the youth room at 6:30 and go until 8:00. It's a time to get together and enjoy spending time as a group. Sometimes it's all fun and games, and other times we enjoy some deep spiritual growth. But regardless, it's a good time to come together as a family.
Looking to connect? Planet X nights are a great place to grow in your faith and to get to know others. Everyone is welcome and everyone is accepted. Recent activities have included a cookie bake, a prayer event and a movie night. We're always looking to make more friends and meet more people, so come join us and bring a friend or two. Here's the Schedule for Wednesday Nights
(We'll stick to this regularly and you can always find specifics by going to the High School Calendar Section.)
1st Wednesday of the Month
Wednesday Worship. This is a monthly worship gathering that begins in September, 2009. We'll meet in the Messiah gym and the worship begins at 7:00 pm. Each gathering will conclude with some light snacks. Check out more about this gathering at the Wednesday Worship website.
2nd Wednesday of the Month
Servant Event Nights. We'll serve God by serving others. We'll do a variety of things focused on using the gifts and talents we've been given in order to show others how much we love Christ.
3rd Wednesday of the Month
Bible Study Nights. We'll start with some mingling and mixing and then transition into Bible study time with a few worship songs. If you're in a satellite group, plan on meeting with your leaders during the study time. Those that aren't in a group or are still getting one started can join Scott's group in the youth room.
4th Wednesday of the Month
Social Activities. Let's go see a movie, head out to play mini-golf, go for ice cream, or just have a PS2 or Wii night.
5th Wednesday of the Month
When these rare months occur, we'll find something unique and special to do.
