High School Youth Ministry
Welcome to Planet X...
Planet X is the youth ministry at Messiah Lutheran Church. It's a relational ministry that reaches out to the teens of Lincoln, Nebraska and the surrounding communities.
What does Planet X mean?
The Chi-Rho (what looks like a P with an X over it) is the Greek symbol for Christ. It can be easily seen on the Planet X logo. Christ was only on this earth for about 33 years, but He left a mark on this planet that will never be erased. The mission of the Youth of Messiah is to be a part of that mark. We strive to be like Christ.
